Whey Protein (the King of All Proteins) providing more than 5 grams of Branched Chain Amino Acids (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine). Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are depleted during intense exercise, which can lead to a loss of muscle tissue. Dietary BCAAs are important for enhanced muscle development, muscle repair and the synthesis of carbohydrates. BCAAs are essential amino acids and must be provided in the diet, as they are not manufactured in the body. Whey Protein is also a great source of immunoglobulins; specialized proteins that support the immune process. For a better anabolic effect, Muscle Optimeal also contains Soy and Rice protein, which are digested more slowly than whey to offer a delayed release of amino acids for muscle protein synthesis.
