GTF Chromium is a complex known as Glucose Tolerance Factor and is made by fermenting nutritional yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) with chromium. GTF Chromium facilitates the transport of glucose into cells by insulin.Chromium is an essential mineral micronutrient involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and branched chain aminos. Chromium is also found in the nuclei, tightly bound to DNA, RNA and nuclear proteins.
