HMB Fuel is a metabolite of the amino acid Leucine and is thought to have an anti-catabolic effect preventing hard earned muscle from breaking down. It also increases muscle mass and decreases body fat. The branched chain amino acid (BCAA) metabolite B-Hydroxy B-Methylbutyrate Monohydrate (HMB) has been shown to support the body's ability to minimize protein breakdown and damage to muscle cells which can occur subsequent to intense resistance exercise.
